Wonderful style for a hot day. I use my hair clip to make the back pop a little. Since my sisterlocks is not long enough, I decided to bind the end of my locks with black rubber bands & hair pins. I look forward to wearing this style during the upcoming summer months. I'm debating if I should have a tape done or should I continue to hope that my sides will continue to fill in. Decisions, Decisions...









This will be my finally style edition post for this month. I NEED a break from all that styling I did and I plan to free style for a while. I still need to do some YouTube video on some of the styling I did this month. So if you have one that you especially need a video on, please comment below.

I took theses picture after I came back from the comedy club last nigh. Some of my locks came loose, but not many. I started to take down my hair pins, when I remembered that I didn't take any pictures for you guys. Wasn't thinking  and I was SO TIRED, but I stop myself, and took some pictures (the back picture have pins half way out - sorry). Rushing, and trying to do something different never goes hand and hand. This style still look wonderful though, and I received many compliments. This style take me back in time, and I really think it looks cute. The only thing that is missing is the bright lipstick, but I decided to leave it to the hipsters. What do you guys think? No "how to" on this style, but if you must have it, I can do a YouTube video on how to do this style. I'm hoping with the different angles of these picture you get a rough idea.

Loc Knots are another way to create beautiful curls, and at the same time have a unique style for a couple of days. This works well with long locks, but I was able to create the Loc Knots on my current length as well. Below are the step by step instructions. Note: This will take between 1-2 hours to do, so make sure you have a good movie to watch.

Material Needed
Spray Bottle or Setting Lotion (Optional)
Rubberband (Optional)

Step 1: Spray your locks until your locks are damp. You can also do this after you have washed your hair, but I highly recommend letting your locks air dry  a bit before doing this. Note: You don't want your locks to be dripping wet. It will take forever to dry, and it can also introduce mildew and add additional stress to the locks which is totally unnecessary.
Step 2: You going to do a simple twist from the root to the tip of your locks. Do not do these twists to tight, especially if you are against tight hair style. Note: If you have thicker locks, you can skip creating twists and just go to Step 3.
Step 3: You going to then bend your twist up about 3-4 inch (more if your locks are longer than mine, and less if your locks are shorter).You will have to remember to keep your finger in the hoop/bend area you just created. Then you going to wrap the twist you created in Step 2 in a downward motion and around those bended locks you just created.
Step 4: Once you have done wrapping your locks going downward, you going to stick the end of your locks through the hoop you created in step 3. You may or may not need a rubber band to keep them secure.

Below is a nice & cool way to make your everyday straight Sisterlocks different and cute. I think this technique would look so lovely on very long and matured Sisterlocks. To learn how to do the French Braid Waterfalls click here.

I watched curlynugrowth YouTube video yesturday about overstyling, and I kind of figure that was going to be a problem from the onset, especially with newbie or maturing locks. Most of my hairstyle are very loose for that reason, even though I'm over the two years mark. If I have an event to go to, my style would be a little bit more tighter and much more neater, since I want my Sisterlocks to be as presentable as it can be. I do notice my hair looks like it needs a retighten quicker then usual. You should check out her YouTube video where she talks about her overstyling of her sisterlocks.

Note: I added a bobby pin in the front because I have a ton of stickies there due to my thinning hair last year.

This is a simple yet chic side ponytail for the work week. I added a black flower to the side to make this style even cuter. Optional is the flat twist, I'm positive this style would look good without it.

Rain...what rain? Today it rained all day and my style look the same by the end of the day. It's so nice not to worry about the rain anymore! I missed two days of the hair styles challenge, so the 29 Styles, 29 Days, $29 challenge will be a Terez & more victory. I'll still be posting more style this month, so be prepare for that.

Below style was done with four big cornrows going back, I made sure to leave the ends loose (this is where you want your messy look to be). Then I put the end in a very loose ponytail. I use the loose sisterlocks in the front to form a bang by pinning them down with a cute hair pin. Note: My sisterlocks looks extra fizzy due to the fact that it was washed on Sunday.
