Today prove to be a challenging and it was all due to the weather. Still learning about natural lightening, so today was a learning curve because of the rain and cloudiness, which brought in low lighting condition. Most of these below pictures came out dark, so I had to whip out the Photoshop skill ladies. Hope you guys had an amazing week and I also wanted to say welcome to all my new followers : D.

My two favorite blushes are the M•A•C Raizin Matte Blush and bareMinerals Bronze Blush. One blush gives off a more shimmery look (has a shine to it) and the other I consider a more matted and natural looking blush. The one that has the shine, I tend to wear out at night for a more dramatic flare. The other blush that doesn't have a shine I used as my everyday blush. Below is my full review on both products.

There are days I really hate my height (especially when I wear heels) and there are also days I just love my height (I'm 5’8 and with heels I'm 5’11-6’2). Today I happen to love my height, and that is all due to these Palazzo Pants. I never thought I could like these types of pants, but I couldn’t help but admire these when I saw the prints. When I tried this on, I was won over by how elegant and slender it made me look.

Bold colors are today theme. I had a rough week, so I wanted to wear something to brighten up my mood today and these colors did it :D. I also happen to be lucky enough to show off my thrift store find, which is the cardigan (*happy dance*). Normally thrift stores overwhelm me, but I really wanted to challenge myself this year, and I really think this cardigan was a successful find.

Hope everyone had an amazing weekend! Today is President's Day, and today wear was aspired by that. As you know, I love stripes and I decided to wear my stripe blouse with my favorite pair of tan skinnies. I honestly love the material of these pants, it just so nice and comfortable that I'm already thinking of ways to wear it again.

I did a post on how to get really nice looking nails that last longer. If you read that post and have tried it, I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

For the ladies that did try it, and experienced chipping the same day or even after, this review will interest you. If you got yellow nails as a result of applying the nail polish, you either didn't apply a base coat (the most likely reason ^_-) or you purchased a cheap base coat (the least likely reason).

I was very picky when I got my Sisterlocks installed, so I never really like sleeping on them while they were wet. I do have friends and guests who have experience the "moldy" smelling locks, and the usual reason was either they did not let their locks completely dry after washing them or they have't completely washed out the products that were used on their locks prior.

I finally purchased my first boyfriend jeans from GAP (it was on the clearances rack :D)! Since I decided to finally get the boyfriend jeans, today concept was gear toward whatever you can find at a guy closets, especially after just leaving his place (*cough*) the following morning. I'm not too thrill with how wrinkle the blazer look after the commute from my place to my work location (where these were taken). I also need to make sure the sun hits my face on future posts so you guys can see my makeup, since I'm getting so much better at it ^_^.

It is causal Friday ya'll, and I have been patiently waiting to wear my maxi skirt to work for a while now. Since it is a little cooler here in the morning, I decided today is a good day to bring it out. I chose the vest to lessen the causal look a bit. The best thing I ever did was to get my makeup done professionally by a M.A.C. makeup artist. She picked out the right color for my foundation, and also explained each item that she recommend for me to get, and how to apply it. I still have ways to go as far as makeup application is concern, but now I feel that I’m at a place where I can safely say I can now apply my own makeup, and look decent at it. I still have a couple of other makeup to review, but below is the makeup I can't really live without. My face just instantly transform with just the below basic. I found a new spot, but man was it difficult taking my pictures there. The cars that were passing by were ruining my shots, and here I'm rolling my eyes at each of them. Why am I rolling my eyes for? It is business as usually for them, and here I'm taking outfit shots like a crazy woman lol. I also had to get use to the stares, and trust me when I say there were a lot (*chucking*). Hope everyone had an awesome weekend : D.
