What I Wore: Cozy & Warmth
8:38 AMIt has been yucky weather for the past days here, and since we had a cool down here I was really hoping it didn't rain while I drag out my boots. I have a couple boots that I hardly ever get much wear on them, and because of that, they always look like new. That is why I can't see me adding another high boots to my collection, even though I have been loving the knee-high boots that have been trending lately.
Today outfit is inspired by me wanting the fur vest, and me trying to figure out how to make my navy blue sweater dressier. I had this oversize scarf for about a year now, and I decided to use that with a belt to give this outfit more of a full winter feel. I really like how this outfit turned out, and I can say now this would be another favorite outfit of mines.

You're right LOL items such as boots don't get very much use out here so they tend to last us years! I really like the way you are wearing this scarf with the belt around it. The color really pops against the navy! Great look :)

I totally hear you on the boots trend. I kind of want over the knee boots, but I didn't really wear my riding boots all that much last year so it's hard to imagine OTK boots would be worth the price. I agree with Lenya too - love the way you styled the scarf and the yellow bag is such a great accent!

ReplyDeleteWhat an inventive outfit-- I love when you take items out of your wardrobe that you already own and create an entirely new look! It makes you feel so genius hehe-- you really do look like you're wearing a faux fur vest! In fact, I think I'd rather wear that than a fur vest because the vests are kinda bulky... I also adore the navy blue sweater, you can never go wrong with cable knit. Also love the boots, it's always great to get good wear out of items that you sometimes forget about in the depths of your closet :P
