Result: Amber Brown Instant Hightlights on Sisterlocks

3:25 PM

Below are the results of my temporary spray on color. I end up with lovely hightlighs that lasted for days. The "how to" for instant hightlights on locks can be found here.

As a first try, this came out really good. Went out with this last night, and no one could tell this was a temporary highlight. My next attempt will use a little less locks per area and evenly distribute around my head.

  1. The color came out great... My question is does it come out eary? Say if your sweating or get cought in the rain. Or even if it doesnt get wet. say if your wearing white clothing... and your hair rubs up againgst the clothing I wonder would the color start rubbing off? Just Curious because I always thought about using those instant color sprays just too afraid to try it.

  2. Question on washing it out...
It did wash out easy! I did a co wash (not even a clarify wash) and it came out without an issue.

    Question on the Running...
Once the water touches it, it will run and that is the down side of this. I work out with the temporary hair color and it didn't bleed out, but I mostly sweat in my scalp and I also had my sisterlocks in a ponytail.

    Question on clothing...
As for the color rubbing off on clothes, I didn't have that issues, but I did wear only dark color clothing during that time frame. I also sleep with a bonnet and none of the color rubbed on it.

So I believe as long as the hair is dried it won't rubbed off.
