This style was inspired by Chescalocs (French Braid Wrap) . Her locks are much longer than mine, and the end result was so beautiful. I thought maybe I can give it a try since lately I have been wearing my sisterlocks in loose ponytails (currently I'm in a awkward stage). I end up having to do flat twists vs. flat braids instead, since my sisterlocks are short in certain area. In the end, the wrap look just wasn't working, so I end up doing a short flat twist to the front and added my homemade custom hair tie as a holder. Below is the result. I will revisit this style again when my locks are longer and can give this style the justice it deserves.
