What I Wore: Peplum Top with Hints of Red

9:11 AM

Hope everyone had an amazing weekend!!! I was finally able to get the foggy lens under control. I had to leave the camera in the car an hour ahead of time, as well as drive without the A/C (ruin a couple of outfit post =( ). Below is what I wore today, I wanted to keep it simple by wearing the Peplum top without any necklace, since I thought the top was bold enough. I also decided to pair this top with these really comfortable pants. The red pump was added to give this outfit a nice splash of color.

Over the weekend I was reminiscing about my life, and how every year I go through different passages that really have made me who I'm today. I don't regret what I have done or been through in the past, because those experiences really have made me who I'm today. So I decided to stop wishing I had done things differently, and just try to talk to my daughter so she doesn't do the same mistake as I did. I don't know if she would listen, but I hope as she hears it often, it will start to click. That is all today, and as always thanks for reading, and commenting on my post.

Outfit Consist of Peplum Tops | Dark Blue Trouser Pants | Red Pumps | Blue Messager Bag

My makeup consist of what I consider my essentials, blush is M•A•C Raizin Matte Blush, and my lip color is Anita (Browned Burgundy) prep with the EOS Lip Balm

I agree with you, it's no good to dwell about the past, it's gone and we shouldn't let it ruin our future.

  2. I really like your top and the red heels! It is a waste to regret anything as all of our experiences have helped make who we are today. She may not appreciate it yet, but one day she definitely will appreciate the life experience you are sharing!

  4. I always did love the black, white and red look. It's timeless, and you've styled it beautifully here! I love how you decided to keep it simple since it can be a complicated color scheme. I also love your advice! You're so right. Our life is made up of moments. And those are the moments that make us who we are today, so we shouldn't regret anything. I think that is great advice to pass down to your daughter! XOXO

  7. Simple and yet an elegant outfit. I'm not a fan of bootcuts but yours looks great on you. Love the pattern on the peplum, it's really unusual.
And I'm sure your daughter will listen to your advice, just give her time.

    2. Thanks for the comment! I found boot cuts looks good on me due to my height.

As for giving her time, I will always do that, I'm just hope what I have been through doesn't get repeated though her. I see the cycle get repeated too much in our community.

Yes Mom...LOL you a trip hehe. I need to still leave the AC off because my makeup gets ruin as well when I go from the super cold AC to the humidly outside. I don't know if that has been shared by anyone, but I found that tip by accident.

Glad you figure out what I was talking about (it is like we link huh).

Hope you having an amazing week...XoXo Sheila
