Love the freedom my sisterlocks gives me, and the different styling option I can do. I don’t have to worry about wetting my hair, or how frequent I can or can't wash it. I loved the fact that I was able to get rid of the combs, brushes, the synthetic hair, and most of all the PERMS. As I continue to grow in my journey, I find that locking was the best decision for me.

On that note, I can’t say everything about my maturing locks have been uneventful. I dislike the little balls that form at the end of my locks (this happen when your locks are maturing). I try my hardest not to have unraveling locks, but it happens, and it’s annoying. Last but not least, the time it takes to retighten my hair, its takes 5-6 hours for me and that itself is a bummer :(.
