What I Wore: Seasonal Hype

8:00 AM

Someone once told me "a promise is a comfort to a fool". Little did I know back then, how true that "statement" was and still applies today. As I continued to progress through life, I have come to prefer to receive comfort from people through their own actions vs. though their promises.

On with the post...Today outfit is going back to my comfort zone. South Florida had a "little" cold front (when I mean little.. I mean the the upper 60's) come through, which means I can rock the light sweater, without being looked at as crazy person ^_^.  I had first worn this dress over the summer when I visited Greece, and the thing that drew me to this dress was the colors and the mix print pattern on it. Today I decided to wear the same dress underneath a light sweater for a very fall inspired look.

As always, thanks for all the comments, and I wish you a very happy and rewarding Monday.

Outfit Consists of Mix Print Dress (Macy's) | Light Sweater (Forever 21) | Buckle Boots (Burlington Coat) | Big Fedora Hat (Forever 21) | Fizz and Frosting

Nail color is What's The Password from Orly. My makeup consist of what I consider my essentials, blush is M•A•C Raizin Matte Blush, and my lip color is Viva Glam VI outline with Chestnut, and prep with the EOS Lip Balm.

    1. They don't have any cold fronts? I read up on Qatar, but I didn't check for the weather there to see if they get any cool temp.

  11. It is true that a promise doesn't mean much to some people...Well, it takes all sorts as they says...

However, this outfit fulfilled its promise...it did look promising from the beginning and as I scrolled down I saw that it is perfect in every way. ....love everything about it...the boots, the bag...the floral skirt...your smile...

  13. Really great food for thought on your quote today! I've never heard that saying before but the cynic in me really likes it! :) I also really like your outfit and think it's so creative to layer a sweater over a dress. And hey, upper 60s feels downright freezing when you're used to upper 70s and 80s! :)

  15. You look gorgeous when dressing for a 'cold' day (for us Vancouverites, that would be a good day at this time of the year haha)! I adore that beautiful sweater paired with the bright and cheerful skirt, as well as those booties! Lastly, I am in love with the hat and the tassel necklace, I want one just like that necklace as I'm trying to buy something different than my usual statement necklaces lately.

Btw, I just followed you on GFC-- hope you can follow back soon if you haven't already lovely!

I don't like it, lol. Normally I don't dress for the blog, we take the pics on our way out, though. Now it seems I have to do three outfits at my weekend, dang! I don't like it, lol, but I suppose there ain't nothing I could do about it. xox
