My Current Hair Regiments – Body & Hair

6:58 AM

I totally believe the way you treat your body, will directly affect, one way or another, how your hair grow. This theory applies if you are locked or natural. I learn that I have to take care of my body in order to get healthy hair & locs. Below is what I do to promote growth, and healthy Micro Sisterlocks.
Body: GYM (Exercise), & Vitamins (Biotin & One A Day Women's)
Hair: WATER (Everyday), Moisturizing Spray (1-2 week), Treatment (1 monthly), Essential Oil (After Every Wash).
Maintenance: Shampoo (1.5 weekly), Conditioner (1 monthly), Retighten (4-5 week)

  1. Hi again Kreyola! Is it possible to get ride of the dust by shampoing your locks? Or is it mandatory to wrap your hair in bed every single night as I've heard? Thx :) !

    1. Dust or anything like that is really hard to get rid of from lock, since locks are not straight but matted hair, so the dust or anything of that nature (for example sand) can get trapped. Shampoo is not a guarantee removal, you will most likely have to shake and pick them out.

I wrap my hair every night (sometime during the day when I'm cleaning). It help my lock remain lint free as well prevent thing from getting on it. Like I explain above, lock tend to hold on to things and that what cause issue later down the road.
