Columbus, Ohio: Experiencing My First Autumn Fall Colors

5:35 PM

I always wanted to experience fall like colors since I was a little girl. I remember watching movies or cartoon with people playing with the leaves and just enjoying the different shade of colors on the trees. I got a glimmer of it when I went to Atlanta Georgia last year, but wow did I experience it in Columbus Ohio. It was breath taking! Now my next goal is to experience real snow.

Below are my favorite pictures from my trip to Ohio. I wore my sisterlocks manly free style, since I didn't want to carry any additional items for my 4 day trip. It amazing that I didn’t really need to do anything to my sisterlocks and they still looked presentable. The only thing that didn’t make this trip perfect was the fact I got sick toward the end of my trip. Getting sick was bound to happen since I had a retighten done the day before the trip, and only had 2 1/2 hours of sleep for a 6:30am flight.

  1. Glad you enjoyed your visit to OH-IO. Was the trip business or pleasure? Would loved to have met up with you before you left. Maybe next time.

PS. The news was talking about snow for some areas today...come back in January and you will get a good look at lots of snow.

  2. @NI...I didn't know you were down there? I know I do want to go down there for the snow, so we may have to do a meet up if that happens. I was down there for pleasure....I have a close friend who recently moved from Florida to Ohio. Such a fun trip this was :D.

  3. I live in Ohio, and I really take for granted those fall colors. I actually had my Sisterlocks installed in Columbus.

Like Ni said, there will be plenty of snow here in January. Personally, I could do without the snow because it's no fun to travel in.

The wonderful thing about the 4 seasons is they don't affect our Sisterlocks!

  4. @Terez I wonder if anything effects our sisterlocks lol. Do you by any chance have the information of the person that install your sisterlocks in Columbus? My friend up there wants sisterlocks and was even considering flying down to Florida to get it done. If you can please provide the information on who installed your sisterlocks I would be extremely grateful. Thanks!

  5. Yep. Check the Sisterlocks website for Roxanne Ray and Chasrah Gomer. They are a mother-daughter team of Sisterlocks consultants. They installed my Sisterlocks.

There are actually quite a few consultants and trainees in Ohio.
