I finally put some conditioner on my locs! I'm still bundling and I didn't put any on the section that haven't been locked. I have to say, I didn't get any unraveling, nor did I notice any residues. I think the main reason I didn't get any unraveling is because of the conditioner I used. The name of the conditioner I'm using is Aura Rosemary Mint Rejuvenating Conditioner, the same line as the shampoo. Once I rinse out the conditioner, my sisterlocks felt great.

I'm thinking of using this conditioner once a month. Once my hair is completely locked, then I will do an ACV Rinse. Will keep you posted when I do. Notice how the ingredient on my shampoo and conditioner has rosemary. From what I have read and researched, Rosemary is excellent for hair growth.

I know now why my hair was getting so rough all of a sudden. I didn't understand what the heck was going on. I was using my moisturizing spray, instead of my locks getting softer, it was getting harder. Well I said to myself, I should just go back to using regular water. I started to use more water and my hair started to get softer. My conclusion is this...I was over using the spray. It makes perfect sense; we are so use to using more, that the concept of less is foreign to us. My hair feels so much lighter right now, I will go back to how I was originally maintaining my hair.

Right now I’m desperate for products that will soften my Sisterlocks. I love my locks, but they are rough right now. My sisterlocks are approaching the one year mark. On my previous post, I talk about what I use on my sisterlocks for moisture, and the itchiness. One of the products I use just happens to soften my hair as well. Well I ran out of the “Next Image Avocado Oil & Shea Butter" last week and decided to do an experiment. I decided not to put any moisturizing spray on my sisterlocks for a week. So now I'm on the hunt to find out what works best with my locks. I am heading out tomorrow to purchase my second bottle of Next Image Avocado Oil & Shea Butter and a conditioner. I haven’t been using any conditioner on my hair as advised by my consultant and that is all due to fear that my hair would not lock up as fast, but I came to a conclusion that most of my hair is locked, and if it take a little longer for the rest to lock, so be it. I can’t have my hair feeling so rough.
