Review: Natural Facial Moisturizer by Adovia Mineral Skin Care

10:33 AM

Ever since I started to really applying makeup, I have become obsessive with taking care of my skins....naturally. I have to admit though that prior I could have care less about the appearance of fine lines, since my main concerns was and still is to get rid of my acne and oily prone skin.

For my acne prone skin, my acne wash and moisturizer take care of that, but I do notice that my skin really has taken a beating as far as fine lines are concern, primarily on my forehead. I especially notice it when I apply makeup. Since I have recently decided to change my skin routine (will release a post later), I notice my skin health has improved greatly (which I thought was amazing considering how damage it was).

So right now I'm looking for the perfect face moisturizer, and I have found that Jojoba is best for me as a makeup base, but for an everyday Moisturizer, the Natural Facial Moisturizer by Adovia Mineral Skin Care is pretty darn good, and I prefer that vs. my now all time Jojoba facial moisturizer. By the way, my skin type would be best describe as extremely oily and acne prone, and below is my full and honest review.

Like
- Smell Really Nice (I'm Particular About My Smells lol)
- Packaging
- Natural
- Great Daily Moisturizer
- Dermatologist Tested & Approved
- Non-Greasy

Dislike
- Makeup Based = Oily Skin
- Very Thick
- Doesn't Contain SPF (Would have been PERFECT if it did)

Adovia states that this product work great as your makeup based, but for my extremely oily skin, I would say that is a big time NO. If you have mix combination or dry skin, this is literally perfect as a makeup based/moisturizer. It is thick, but does goes on really light. The thickness of this product did concerned at first, since I had issue where the products like these came pouring out of my pores (gross I know -_-), but this product doesn't as much. If you have acne prone skin, this will work well for you without any issue, because I have been using this for weeks with no issues.

I tend to use this at night after I clean my soap face with with the Bamboo Charcoal Soap, and exfoliate with my Konjac Charcoal Sponge (will discontinued and buy a regular sponge in the future). I also have this on during the day as well, but only if I won't be in the sun for long.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
