What I Wore: Floral Punk
8:50 AMAs you grow order, your tolerance and naiveness level goes down. Relationship with friends starts to dwindle down to a selection few, and forming new relationships gets rarer and rarer. To this day, I still wonder if losing that tolerance toward the negatively, and the naiveness that comes with it, is a good thing or a bad thing. <--- I decided from time to time to share my inner most thought, hope you guys don't mind.
If you haven't already guess it, I love being comfortable with whatever I wear, but I also like to mess with the "chic divaness" as well, and today outfit is definitely chic with a touch of bad as* thrown in. I'm now feeling the floral trend this year, and this sweatshirt was an instant love because of the edginess of it and it had of course had Marilyn Monroe.
I had an outfit on yesterday that I hated as soon as I saw the pictures. So today I had to step up, because I don't plan on releasing that ghastly outfit anytime soon (*shivers*). Maybe one day I release an outfit post that highlights the outfits that didn't make the cut.

ReplyDeleteYour opening paragraph is actually in accordance with my own thoughts...I have been thinking about the loss of innocence myself..as years pass me by, I'm more aware that people's intentions are not always nice...is it for better or worse...who knows? all in its due time?
I love to hear how other people, from different countries, refer to certain items. This is the second time I heard the M.M refer to as a "jumper". I look it up "jumper" and is commonly refer to as a sweater here (or sweatshirt).

ReplyDeleteHi Desola, this one actually took about 2 week and a half. The seller I purchase it from had great rating, and I was very satisfied with this purchase. For once, this purchase top was long enough on the arms (I just rolled it up for this outfit).

You don't know how much I like this fun and funky outfit on you! Every single piece are so marvelously put together. I hesitate to try it myself though mostly because of age. As you were talking about aging, I am the one clearly felt the fun and funky part of me is dwindling by days.

I love the contrast in this outfit! The edgy styling of the pieces paired with the pastel colors is a really fun concept. Plus you look great in pastels. I also totally agree with your inner thoughts of the day! It is much harder to make real friends as we age...at least it has been for me! A lot of people are established in other friendships already and not really open to new ones, plus I am a lot more picky about friends and who I am willing to include in my life, and that really narrows my options!

It so edgy but at the same time the pastels make it sweet and you are so rocking this outfit girl!
