Today feature is what I wore during the weekend. I think I'm going to have to start taking pictures during the weekend, much to the horror of my daughter lol. Right now she stay wanting to quit, but like I explain to her, I need at least two-week notice because I'm paying her, so she has to have a worker mentality :D.

I really like wearing skater dress during the weekend, because they are so comfortable, and they can easily be dress up and down. I already have another idea on how I will be remixing this dress for fall/winter.  I added my lace/floral scarf to complete this look. Going to have to keep this short. I'm running on no coffee, and it is 5:00 am right now as I type this post.

Today outfit is featuring my white dress that I wore here, and I decided to pair it with my favorite denim jacket that I got from American Eagle a while back.  I have to say that this denim jacket is such a wonderful items to have because it keeps your body at the right temperature every time. You don't get too hot when the temperature is higher and it still keeps you warm in slighter cooler temp.  In the end I tried this whole outfit with my clutch and beige sling-back pumps for a perfect fall transition outfit.

So when I first wore this outfit, I founded it looked good via my tall mirror, but when I later took the pictures, and peek through the viewfinder in my camera, I was thinking this outfit looks blah. It wasn't till I open them up on my computer and saw the pictures fully did I became more excited.  I was super happy that the look and theme I was going for was successful. I wanted this outfit to be super girly, with bohemian vibe thrown in, and I believe I nailed it all.

To complete this bohemian look, I paired my boho dress with this lovely kimono scarf that I purchased recently and which is still available here.  I like this scarf because not only can I wear it like a Kimono, I can also wear it as a scarf. Like I have been explaining in my previous post, my focus is buying pieces that can be reused in multiple ways, and I look forward to tackling this kimono scarf on my next outfit.

I have been searching for the perfect olive vest for a while now and when I saw this one, I actually squealed in delight. It's perfect in every way, and I can already see tons of ways I can wear it. This the most comfortable outfit EVER. I really did enjoy wearing this dress for a more causel look that is both comfortable and chic to. I'm so tempting to get the stripe version as well, but I will be good and try not to get two of something I like. This dress is still available at H&M here.

Matching a dress with tennis shoes are always something that is difficult to pull, but I always believe that a shirt dress can be varsity enough that it can look nice with heels, as well as tennis shoes. So if
you want ever wanted to try the dress/tennis shoes look, give the Piqué Dress a try.

Found this lovely dress at Old Navy (available here), and I couldn't wait to wear it. I really like the length and feel of this dress. I don't know about you guys, but lately I have been feeling that dresses are now getting shorter and shorter, and for someone with my height (and curves), that combination can be dangerous at times lol. A simple white dress with a cardigan is a MUST have for the ladies. I can never have too much cardigans, and I feel they are just perfect for spring and summer when you want to wear your dress to work, but have to have a bit more coverage as shown on the last picture.

Today featured is a lovely spring/summer dress that works perfectly as a stand alone and that is all do to the detail trim around the waist, and its great lenght. When I decided to wear this work, I wanted to paired it with my second recent purchase, a sliver pump (another on my wish-list purchase) and a nautical inspired theme purse. I think this outfit turned out really well and you will soon find out that I love nautical anything, and tend to wear those color "offline" a lot.

Below outfit was inspired by me wanting cooler temp here in Florida, and we will be receiving that this coming weekend again. If you happen to know colors, the mixtures below are considered "cool colors". To tone down the color and pattern of this sweater dress, I went the route of adding the denim jacket to this outfit. No necklace was added, since it made this outfit way to busy.

So another lesson was learn today, always bring a backup battery for your remote O_o. The camera battery for my remote went dead and I was left with a couple of bottom shots, but no full shots. Thank goodness I was able to get a kind older woman to take my pictures for me. On some days I guess being the odd-ball taking solo pictures comes in handy lol.

Today outfit was going to be worn last week, but Florida had some real bad weather, and I do not like wearing a dress while it is raining cats and dogs. So I decided to wear this dress today and I'm honestly surprise this dress lasted this long, and that I can still fit it! Today is the first time I decided to wear it for work. I added my trusted and true blazer to make this outfit appropriate enough.

Someone once told me "a promise is a comfort to a fool". Little did I know back then, how true that "statement" was and still applies today. As I continued to progress through life, I have come to prefer to receive comfort from people through their own actions vs. though their promises.

I'm seemed to be liking red for fall like colors, and today is no exception. I love maxi dress, and think they can be worn during the fall, as well as summer. Today outfit is a maxi dress that I purchased from Express a long time ago, and I decided today to pair it with my red sweater, and added a gold belt to make it a little dressier for work.

I had an agreement with my daughter that if she passes each of her grades with flying colors, she gets to go on trips with me. She past 2nd grades as one of the top students in her class, so her reward and request was a cruise. I finalize everything this weekend, so come December, we be going to Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos. I also plan on doing some snorkeling there as well. So that is how I spent my weekend, and I hope everyone had a great weekend as well. As promised, below is the Peplum dress in it’s entirely. The dress is one of my favorite because it can be taken apart and worn as a dress or standalone top and skirt. I decided to keep everything as black and white and added a torch of color with the yellow statement necklace. The reason I choice that statement necklace because of it slight shape which match the dress and didn't make it look so busy. The only thing I did different when I arrive to work is exchange the black and white heels for black pump for a more professional look.

If South Florida had true fall like weather/patterns, I would be flooding you guys with fall outfit (may still do). I think fall fashion is my all-time favorite as far as clothes is concern. Today outfit was inspired for my love of fall, and how I would transition to it. I originally receive this dress from my mom, and at first I didn't like it because I thought it was too girly (my mom was obsessive into turn me into a woman/girl), but now I LOVE the fact that it is girly. The floral with the lace detail makes this a truly pretty dress. I also like the mix of pattern that is all over this dress.

It has become a puzzle for me to not only find stuff in my clothes to wear, but also how to make them unique and totally me. I wore this Kimono to my trip to Greece, and there I paired it with shorts and a tank.
