I have upgraded to bigger and better things as far as bloating paper is concern.  Below is my review of my current favorite bloating paper by Palladio. Don't let the vintage cover of this product fool you, this product is REALLY good.

I use this along side my Becca primer, which has now has enable me to only bloat my t-zone vs. my whole face. I also now take care my skin a whole lot better by using a moisturizer, which has corrected my underline of my super oily skin prior.

This hand down the best bloating paper I have come across, and please trust me when I state that I have used many. This one was first introduced to me by a fellow co-worker at my current job when I had left my ClearSkin one at home, and ask her for one, and I have been using it ever since.

The size of this is really what makes this a keeper. Before I had to use at least 1 1/2 to 2 sheet of bloating paper from ClearSkin, but with this, I only need to use 1 sheet. I also LOVE the fact that one side of this sheet has powder, and the other side doesn't. So if you have a combination skin, you can decide not to use the power side, and still get a shine free face.

The best part thing about these sheets are that when you use them to bloat your face, the oiliness from your face doesn't transfer to your fingers, and that I consider a MAJOR plus.

I have been veering off the MAC lipsticks a bit, and checking out the Anastasia Beverly Hills line. The main reason that they do last longer, and don't require constant re-applications.

I end up buying four colors from this line, and I don't plan on picking up more. My two favorite colors for every day use are "Trust Issue" and "Veronica" from that line. Even though Veronica is a very pretty neutral color for every day wear, I really do have a hate/love relationship with that color, so please read the full review below on it.

Blushes are needed when you wear full coverage foundation, since your face is pretty much a blank canvas after applying your foundation of choice (whether is liquid or powered). You just need some kind of color to basically bring everything back together again, and that is honestly the best way I can describe the uses of blushes (well for me at least). As I started getting better at applying makeup, I noticed more and more the reason behind the blushes.

In the past, I never understand, nor did I feel that someone with my skin tone (a NW 50 on MAC) needed blushes, but I was WRONG. I have now a total of four blushes that I rotate between, and below are the quick review on the how or when I used them.

You may have already noticed, but if you hadn't, I have now upgraded from what I used from my essential post for eyeshadows. I now use a total of 5 shades to create my "natural"eyeshadows look. I still can't believe I'm using 5 colors!! Now most of my eyeshadow palettes listed here are what I considered “neutral ", and this is what my reviews are based on.

A lot of these are drug store type purchases, and are very affordable. I just want to note beforehand that most of the store brought eyeshadow palettes require a good primer in order to show clearly, last longer, and not crease.

Damnnnnnnn this a good primer! Normally my reviews starts off as an intro, but I can't help it, this is a darn good primer for oily skin. I also believe this is even better for people who have large pores, fine lines and want their makeup to last up to 12 hours. Read further for this priceless addition to my makeup routine.

I have tried a good amount of oil absorbing sheets, and the one that I found that are the best out of the bunch are Clean & Clears Sheets. I just keep coming back to these every time.

They are super absorbing, and they really do keep your makeup intact longer. The packet contains about 50 sheets each, and the feel of these sheets can be best described as slight textured and powdery soft, I just LOVE how soothing there are on the skin.

I usually know when I need to use these sheet when I start feeling the "tingling" sensation, I then proceed to bloat my "T" zone first, and then all over. I use about 2 sheet per day vs. 3-4 when I wasn't taking care of my skin (will share my skin care routine later).

Been playing around with my eye area lately and decided to try an eyelash curler for the first time. Using it at first was indeed a daunting task, but once I got over my fears, I beginning curling like nobody business. I really never understood the need for an eyelash curler until now, and that is all due to this review. I have one old eyelash curler that I purchased years ago from the dollar store (never used it), and what set these two apart is the closure latch (which I love) and the rubbers for curling the lashes (it come with an extra rubber piece). I found the rubber is actually better on ForteBellezza eyelasher color vs. the cheap one I had, but I have to say what really set this curler apart is the closure latch. It just makes it so much easier to store or to carry with you.

When I  actually start use this product, I finally understood the need for eyelasher curlers. This eyelash curler (and I imagine many other) just give out the perfect curls to your lashes, making your lashes pop out even more. This is all due to the slight bend of your lash over your eyelid. When you don't use an eyelash curler, your lashes (well mines at least) are just straight and even though you add mascara, it not as noticeable far away. When you curl your lashes though, and add 1-2 coat of mascara, you will walk away with some amazing looking lashes.  I don't know how long this will last, but so far I really like it and have no issue using this for the past weeks.

I have to admit when I first got this sponge, I was really surprised on how hard it was, and I didn't want it anywhere near my face. After clearly reading the instructions (which oddly enough calls for no cleanser) I was able to fully appreciate this sponge as my exfoliator. Once this sponge gets wet, it becomes super soft and really does exfoliator the skin without irritating it. I have to honest though and state that I had to used this with the combination of my Charcoal soap, and that is the only way I can see the benefit of this sponge, since its cost is to high for a product you going to have to purchase constantly.

The sponge directions states to use it as a stand along, but I feel my skin will not be properly clean if I did that. Since I still had the option to clean with a cleanser, I opt for that instead since I know for a fact that if I don't use a cleanser on my face, I will break out.

I didn't know how long this sponge is suppose to last at first, since it doesn't state that information on the box or instruction so I email the company and asked them. They stated the sponge has to be replaced every 2-3 months or once the sponge has broken down. That I think is not bad for a sponge life cycle, but I have to still state I don't see me spending $24.95 (original price) for this sponge.

So based on the cost, I can't recommend this product to you if you are on a tight budget. If the current price ever get cheaper (more on the line of $5-$6 bucks) then I could honestly recommend this product (since you be using a lot of it it).

I  will always recommend using a sponge or towel to exfoliate your skin, because it does do a good job of clearing out your dead skin cells, help with the pores, and help reap the benefit of your moisturizer (or any skincare products). Ever since I started to really applying makeup, I have become obsessive with taking care of my skins....naturally. I have to admit though that prior I could have care less about the appearance of fine lines, since my main concerns was and still is to get rid of my acne and oily prone skin.

For my acne prone skin, my acne wash and moisturizer take care of that, but I do notice that my skin really has taken a beating as far as fine lines are concern, primarily on my forehead. Hello everyone. I hope everyone is having a great weekend, I really do miss you guys (and blogging). My place is still a crazy mess, and I have about 21 days left to go for my trip to Greece (going shopping this week - hooray). Once I'm settled, I will be picking up the "What I Wore" series. Today I wanted to share a soap that is great for acne prone skin. I have used this soap for about three weeks now, and I have received such great results, but there is one negative issue I have to note. Below is the full review.

Many people don't believe that I suffer from really bad case of acne all my life. I still battle the very issue now and use these products to combat my issues. So knowing that, I do have to be really careful with whatever soap I used for my face etc.

This soap actually turned out to be good because it simply didn't break me out, nor did it cause my face to get oily after used (that is why I use hypoallergenic soap for my face, chest, upper arms, and back). The scent of this soap brings back wonderful memories of when I visited Haiti when I was young. It has a very light earthly smell that just delightful to behold (if you are into that lol =D).

The only thing I can note about this soap is that it can be very messy and that is due to the color of the soap. If your shower area has white tiles, and has texture surface bathtub, then this will stain the tub until you wash it out.

If you have dark showers, then you have no worries about the stain issue mentioned above, and I can then highly recommend using this soap for problematic skins. If you have shower area like mines, then you have to figure out if this product worth washing the affect area as you used this soap. I'm lazy, so I don't like constantly having to clean my shower area. I did notice The Healling Tree had "Bamboo Vinegar Soap" that is not as dark, and I may order that one since I really do like this soap. Until next time my lovely peeps!
