I'm going to have to keep it short ladies and gentlemen. Today I'm finishing up some much needed items and the news is we will know everything by Tuesday of next week.

Today outfit was about remixing a couple of item to create a completely different outfit.  Underneath this super comfy sweater is a dress. I added the belt to give this outfit some shape. Now I don't know if I made it clear on my last post, but I did complete my tag "get to know me" post, and that post can be found here. I don't have much to say today. Rumors are all over the place at work, and right now I about tired of it and just want facts. So with that in mind, I really wasn't in the mood to dress up today and that is why today outfit is rather simple.

I tried to dress up this gray sweater by adding the maroon and cranberry colors to it, but in the end I'm still not too sure about the scarf. On a good note, I'm cozy and warm today, so I consider that a plus. I'm also hoping today we get the news we have been patiently waiting for. Will keep you guys posted if any news come my way.

Gosh I haven't post about my hair for a while. My Sisterlocks has gotten much longer, and there are times when I have to admit there are too much in the summer (can we say hot), and there are times where they scared the crap out of me due to random loose locks on the shoulder etc. Beside those two random issues, I still love my Sisterlocks journey, and whenever I think about going back to being natural, I plant my fingers in my daughter hair, and with a loud resounding  NOPE, I come back to earth.

Below are my updates, and I decided to do this post as an FAQ format, which should answer most of your questions I know you may have.

Length Check - Are You Happy Now?
I'm actually really happy with this length, and I found that the longer my Sisterlocks gets, the harder it is to deal with. Curling and doing braid-out are taking much longer, and now require super damp hair in order to take. Just dealing with those issues alone makes me lazy. Once my locks reach mid-back length, I will be trimming them. I will share that milestone when I reach it.

Soo...I thought this outfit was going to end up being a no no, but as I open my pictures up this this morning, I thought this outfit turned out great.

If you haven't already guessed, I try my hardest to plan my outfits, but as I come to find out, most of my favorite ones are the spur of the moment ones. Today outfit is all about comfort, and I truly wanted to avoid wearing a skirt since the coworkers want to go for happy hours later on today to release some stress. I'm totally not in the mood to spend some money, but just in case, I decided to dress up a little.

I love this emerald green top and I decided to pair it with the wide bottom jeans because of the flare of the shoulder area. I thought the flare would balance out this outfit a bit. The clutch and the brown belt were used to bring the colors all together. Wishing you a happy Friday and as always thanks for the lovely compliment.

I decided to wear this light draped trench jacket I purchase recently because I was getting a mad case of envy from my fashion divas up north. I do plan on picking up at least two more in different colors & length, since they are so light and are truly perfect for the Florida fall/winter weather.

Let me start of by saying thanks to all the ladies that commented on my posts last week. I really do appreciate it. Last week was an extremely stressful week, and I basically spend half of it and part of the weekend working on updating my resume, and building out my portfolio site (which basically display my designs works). I don't know the details yet, since what I learned was based on rumors, and I can't really share much on it, but I will most likely be switching job come the end of this year either way.

I was trying to come up with a title for this outfit, and as I look at the colors, "cinnamon spice" came to mind. The addition of this light scarf added just enough spice for this outfit with the various shades of brown. One thing you will learn about me is that I love scarf, and most of my scarf are very light due to our weather.

You may have already noticed, but if you hadn't, I have now upgraded from what I used from my essential post for eyeshadows. I now use a total of 5 shades to create my "natural"eyeshadows look. I still can't believe I'm using 5 colors!! Now most of my eyeshadow palettes listed here are what I considered “neutral ", and this is what my reviews are based on.

A lot of these are drug store type purchases, and are very affordable. I just want to note beforehand that most of the store brought eyeshadow palettes require a good primer in order to show clearly, last longer, and not crease.

Oh stripes and plaid, what beautiful lines you create....lol...wasn't that cheesy? I guess by now you already figure out how much I love colors (blame my profession). I really tried staying with black and white theme, but as I put this outfit together this morning, I thought those colors alone made this outfit too dull. So I decided to add a pop of color with the plaid scarf, and massager bag. I like the end result because at first, I wasn't so sure about the portfolio shirt, especially pairing it with the stripe skirt. In the end, it turned out really nice and different from how I normally saw this shirt being worn.

Hello everyone! I hope you had a great week, I know mines were super busy playing catch up since I was away form work for about two weeks. I'm glad things are starting to normalize both at the blog end and at work.

This outfit was worn yesterday for the very brief cool down we were experiencing. I have to be honest and say it was all about comfort this time around when I decided to cozy up with my Aztec cardigan, and hot cup of hot cocoa. As always, thanks for the lovely comments, I really do appreciate them ^_^. Since I have been reading about goals lately, I decided to share some of my ongoing goals. I decided to put them on the very bottom of my outfit post for anyone that is interested: D.

Monday was such a bummer as far as my photo shoot is concern, and now I'm dreading summer because it was hot, foggy, and humid again. I also forgot to wear my all-time favorite primer, so that just made my day go downhill from there, because I knew I would be using a lot of bloating paper that day.

Today on the other hand fair a little better. Since it was a little cooler today, I decided to wear my very light sweater dress, paired it with my Indian scarf that was given to me as a gifted by a coworker. I decided to add the gold belt to give this outfit a little more glam.

Finally, the long await post about my Grand Turk & my Princess Caribbean cruise experience is here!!!! Sorry for the delay guys, I should have never gone to work on December 29, 2014 because by the time I went home, my body started to ache really bad and I was knocked out for a couple of days. I’m happy to say I'm fine now, and I'm looking forward to enjoying what this year has to offer.

Grand Turk was truly a beautiful island, with crystal clear blue water and white sands. It did rain there from time to time, but the showers went by rather quickly, and didn't damper our fun at all. When you first arrived at the port, you can easily lounge all day at the beach, which is right in front of you as you exit the ship from the port. I choose to explore this island a bit, and play with the Stingray and Fishes.

I have to admit to you guys that I'm not a huge fan of cruising, because of the fact I'm so limited in my exploration of the port destination, and I also get tired of being limited to the boat. Even though I'm not a fan, I do have families and friends that do enjoy it, and that all they can afford to do for vacations.
