Hello my lovely followers. Today outfits is a blouse that I love because of the animal pattern on it. This blouse is a bit different from the typical animal pattern due to its bright and vivid colors. I decided to just dress it down with a pair of skinny jeans.

Anyhow, I always wanted to do the coffee and fashion photo shoots, and today I was indeed presented with a good valid reason for it. Now until April 13, McDonald's is giving away free coffee in the morning (Breakfast Time). I hope you guys hop on that, especially if you like coffee, because I sure did get my free coffee. By the way, I don't get paid to advertise anything on my blog (as of yet) so today showing is just me having a little fun. Until next time peeps and I hope you guys have a great week ^_^.

Running at the Run or Dye 5K was a very fun and exciting experience, and I will always recommend to try it at least once, and only if you are into running (or walking). I sign on pretty early at $25, but I personally don't think it is worth at $45 if you sign up later.

Would I do this event again? The answer is no, and that is due to two things. The first is that they didn't do any "timing" on that location (they don't do it period, and I totally missed that fact in their FAQ'S), and the second was no medals for actually participating in the 5K. I admit that I was spoiled with my last 5K, and I honestly had a higher expectation with this one.

Below are pictures of my dye experience. It was a VERY messy experience. The dye also became yucky toward the end, since I ran the whole thing. I believed I beat my last 5K time (I had to base it on my own numbers). My timing was 28.5 (note: last time I timed myself, I end up having a faster time when the official result was release).  If you are curious on how well the dye came off my Sisterlocks, please continue reading.

Sigh...I would have love to wear this on Valentine's Day, but atlas it was too hot that day, and so I had to make do and settled for the maxi skirt. Mother Nature decided to played a trick on us Floridian in MARCH, and we got hit with the low 50's. As you know, I had to take full advantage of this weather change! I decided to wear my red coat with my comfortable sweater dress. This weather is only temporary, and I have to say, I'm loving this brief temperature change.

I'm still sore from the 5K run I did the other day, and tomorrow is a rainy day. Soooooo since you guys stated you don't mind my causal post, I decided to pull out the boyfriend jeans again. I'm a firm believer that casual can be sexy and cute, and I think I proved both concept with this outfit. Anyway....who doesn't like a nice pair of Converse Chuck Taylor? I have a gray and pink one, and I have been eyeing the classic for a while now. Well I hope you guys had an amazing week...signing off for now :D. 

P.S. I have two pairs of these glasses, and I loved them on me, but I never wore them because I didn't want to be label a hipster by my coworkers (long story). Today I decided to wear them because I think it just compliment this outfit. What do you think...to much?

My company is always throwing an event, and yesterday event was a BBQ at the owner house (this was my first time going there). Below is the outfit I wore there. If you are one of my Instagram followers, you caught a glimpse of below when I laid it out.








Outfit Consist of Denim Jacket | Lace Dress | Brown Wasit Belt | Brown Sandals. My Sisterlocks was just twisted to the side and pinned down with a Flexi-8 clip.

My makeup consist of what I consider my essentials, blush is M•A•C Raizin Matte Blush,  my lip color is Choco-Liscious prep with the EOS Lip Balm.

My nail color is L.A. Colors BCC 590 Tropical Breeze & Accent Color is China Glaze 567 Coconut Kiss. I did another 5K run today, and this time it was with DYES (*yikes*), will release a full post about it when I get a chance. Enjoy the rest of your weekend guys.

I love leopard prints, and since we are on the topic of leopard prints, I'm have to admit to you guys that I have a good amount of those prints in items ranging from shoes, purse and clothes etc. My outfit today is just something that screams positive vibes...hear me roar lol.

With the time change, the sun rise has been coming in much later. So I had to take a step back on the outfit post because of that. On top of the time change, I had to go apartment hunting again. So yes ladies and gentlemen, I will be moving once again...ugh. Today outfit is basic and is very much spring inspire. Hope everyone had a great weekend.









If you have been following me, you know how I feel about floral, but ever since I have been dipping into the world of fashion, the floral look is starting to grow on me. To tone down the floral look of the pants, I decided to wear a simple white top, and I really like how this outfit turned out.

Outfit consist of White Collared Shirt | Floral Skinny Jeans | Beige & Gold Heels. My makeup consist of what I consider my essentials, and my lip color is Choco-Liscious.

****Special Note*****
This is consider an essential for me, but I decided to separate the primer & bloating paper from my other "everyday makeup" post because not many people battle super oily skin like me. So what I consider an essential to me, may not be to you.

Now that I'm look back on previous posts, and now onto this post, I use a lot of stuff to keep my makeup looking flawless (*sigh*). If you have extremely oily skin like me, below is what helps me retain decently looking makeup throughout the day. The only two products you need is a Primer and bloating paper if you happen to have oily skins like me. Note: I will continue to try to find products that keep my makeup looking matted all day, because the primer and bloating paper helps, but I want something that doesn't require me to dabble all day.

Below reviews are on four products, and the main reasons I decided to share them all was for the ladies that suffers from really oily skin like myself. If you have really oily skins, please don't let anyone tell you that you need to get an oil control moisturizer. You only need two products, and that is the Primer & Blotting Papers (and maybe a Mattifying Powder, I don't have one yet. but will let you know if it is needed in the future).

This is more of a practice post then anything (need to work on the lighting of my outfit post). Today wear is super casual for a company outing we are having at my job. Most of the time this is how I dress (minus the statement necklace), I'm fortunate enough that I'm not required to wear business attire for work.

I have a couple statement necklaces that was given to me as a gift, it is not really my style, but I really want to get out of my comfort zone, and this how I decided to wear this particular necklace. I want to start off by saying to be careful where you buy your makeups. I was brought in by a coworker to buy what I thought to be an authentic Urban Decay product (Facebook Mama Market). As you know, I'm in the process of learning how to apply makeup, and I thought that I was decent enough to start dabbling into eyeshadows now. When the woman offers the product for $35, I have to admit, I looked at what I would be saving vs. doing my own research on whether the product was real or not. I going to be honest here and say I'm such at newbie at this that I had no idea people sell fake makeup?

A lesson was learned yesterday, and I will never fall for that gimmick again.  Below is the picture of the fake stuff. Sorry for the quality, I took the pictures with my phone and I’m shipping it back to her today for a full refund.

Today I decided to keep it simple with my favorite stripe skirt and sweater. I had a busy yet successful weekend because I finally set up my Instagram account, so check it out if you want additional random pictures of my life outside of blogging.

I happen to see Melissa on Tumblr, and as always, I had to find out who she is. I couldn't find a ton of information on Melissa, but what I did find out was interesting enough to share with you guys. Her Sisterlocks are to die for and her makeup is always on point.

Melissa seems to goes by the name of Katana Malone, and she is an aspiring actress, and a model who reside in sunny South Florida. She   was born in Jamaican, and was pretty much raised in a strong military household. She has been called a nerd all her life, which I can totally related ^_^. Her mission is to encourage young black girls to be themselves and not to conform to what society thing is beautiful. I also found out she can sings which is where her love of music comes from. She enjoys writing poetry and loves to partake in the fine arts. So far she had movie roles in Uncommon Crusader (2010), The Caribbean Heist (2013) and Charlie's Angels (2011). Right now she works at a Law firm and is a full time parent to a beautiful little girl.
